**The Royal Flush**

The Royal Flush is the hand that beats them all. From Ace to Ten in the same suit. For example Ace, King, Queen, Jack and Ten of spades make a Royal Flush as well as same cards all in the suit of hearts, diamonds or clubs.

**Straight Flush**

The next highest hand is the Straight Flush. It is made from five cards in a row in the same suit. For example 6-7-8-9-10 or Ace-2-3-4-5 in the same suit.

**Four of a Kind**

Four of a Kind is made from four cards with the same rank. For example four Aces, four Kings or four Queens. The hand with the higher cards wins.

**Full House**

A Full House is made from Three of a kind plus a pair. For example 3 Aces and a pair of Jacks make a Full House. The player who has the higher three cards wins.

**Flush**

Five cards of the same suit make a Flush and they are not in a sequent order. For example 8-9-6-3-K in the suit if hearts. If two players have a flush the player who has the highest card wins.

**Straight**

A straight is formed when a player has five cards in a row not in the same suit. For example A-2-3-4-5, 6-7-8-9-10 or 10-J-Q-K-A. The Ace can be used as a high card and a low card. If two players have a Straight the player with the highest combination of these five cards wins.

**Three of a Kind**

Three cards of the same rank plus two cards that are not a pair make Three of a Kind. For example 10-10-10-7-2 or K-K-K-8-Q. If two players have a Three of a Kind the player with the higher three cards wins.

**Two Pair**

Is combination of two pairs. For example 5-5-K-K-7 or A-A-Q-Q-2. The highest pair wins. If two players have the same high pair the player with the higher second pair wins.

**Pair**

A pair is hand af of five cards with only two cards of the same rank. For example A-A-K-3-4 or 10-10-K-8-9. The hand with the highest pair wins.

**High Card**

High Card is the lowest ranked hand in poker. If you do not even have a pair the highest card wins. For example 4-6-10-J-A. If two players have the same high card it comes down to the second and the succeding cards who wins.
